With Spring ‘showers’ and weddings in bloom, there are so many beautiful color palettes that are being brought into the design and décor of these upcoming celebrations. Pantone’s top Spring/Summer color trends are “a mixture of vitality, relaxation, and the great outdoors” and “reminiscent of the hues that surround us in nature.”
Our favorite wedding theme trend is a mix of the romanticism of Victorian Garden and French Coquetterie. These themes exude those hues found in nature with hints of flirty and vivacious accent tones.
With these themes you will see romantic, brushstroke floral patterns and colors; French Court era “Coquette” tassels, ruffles, and Shantung fabrics; and 20’s inspired feathers, lace, and velvets that create more whimsical designs. Subtle color palettes include Grey hues with blue and purple toned pastels, neutrals in blush, mauve, and ivory, as well as, earthy & subtle green accents. These subtle palettes can also be accented with richer colors like Navy, Burgundy, and Red with pops of brighter colors like Gold or Orange hues.
