ENCHANTED FOREST

As 2017 comes to end we’re looking forward to a new year of fresh color palettes and new developments on the themes we saw throughout this year. In this four part blog series, we’ve complied the color and textile trends we anticipate for the wedding industry in 2018. A bonus blog will also be coming when Pantone’s NEW color of the year is released, so keep your eyes peeled for that too!

Bride’s are starting to move their big day outdoors and using the natural landscape as a focal point for their wedding design. In 2018, we expect to see this trend evolve with even more enchantment.

Fabrics such as plush velvet, crochet, and macrame will be highly utilized along with other natural looking linen tying in the elements of an outdoor wedding. In addition, the use of deep jewel tones and pops of metallic throughout the event design will set the mood for romance.

The enchanted forest look does not have to be reserved for the woods. Bring this theme to your indoor venue by utilizing greenery and dramatic floral arrangements… bonus points if you hang these from the ceiling!
